Volunteers of America Colorado Branch seeks to identify and serve the basic needs of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the community.

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.

I have recommended this organization to friends who have extra time. There are numerous opportunities to volunteer. Situations vary as far as physical demands and education are concerned. There are volunteer opportunities out there that fit my many out-of-town trips (including my three months in Florida).

Work environment is nice and friendly. They respect your choices and allow you explore new areas. They are supportive and helpful. I love working with them and will continue to volunteer as long as I can.
