Caring Companion Volunteer
Kurt & Dave enjoy a visit on the porch.

Someone in your neighborhood wants to meet you!
Do you enjoy sharing stories or conversations over coffee? Do you appreciate connecting with people with similar interests? Do you enjoy listening to music, playing cards or just sitting on the porch visiting? We are looking for male and female volunteers to spend a couple hours a week with an older neighbor. Retired individuals and those with flexible work schedules are ideal! Our Caring Companion volunteers are matched with area residents who would enjoy socialization/friendship, while their family caregivers get a short break to recharge.

Volunteers DO NOT provide personal care, transportation or advice. They DO provide much needed socialization and friendship, and caregiver respite. This is a very flexible volunteer opportunity. You work with the family to determine a schedule that works for everyone.

Contact us today to find out what you can do for a older neighbor in your community!
