Help our senior community by becoming a Meals on Wheels sub-driver!
Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to homebound older adults (those age 60+) in the Fort Collins, Wellington, Bellvue and Laporte areas. Most routes are located in Fort Collins. Help provide nutritious frozen meals to older adults in our community! Not only are volunteers getting food to those in need, you are offering an added check-in and friendly face.
Delivery takes 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours once a week (T-TH). Volunteers arrive at our office (405 Canyon, Fort Collins) between 10am-12pm to pick up frozen meal boxes and then deliver them to clients between 11am-1pm. Volunteers often get acquainted with and develop meaningful friendships with the people they deliver to.

Description
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
