Position Overview The REP Classroom Tutor will work under the direct supervision of an Adult Basic Education REP instructor. During class time may work one-to-one or in small groups with students on basic language skills, including word definitions, grammar, pronunciation, intonation, English descriptions of real-life scenarios, idioms and formation of complete sentences. Most REP learners are recently placed in Tucson. The goal of REP classes is to help adults reach a level of fluency that allows for employability. English level varies widely from pre-literacy to intermediate level.
