ORGANIZATION: Pima Community College Adult Basic Education for College and Career

Overview: Facilitate a weekly English Conversation Club for adult English language learners.

Responsibilities:
-
Run a weekly 1.5 hour long English conversation club
- Prepare activities and materials
- Practice real life scenarios, pronunciation, context, job interviews, etc.
- Maintain your hours and attendance sheet

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to work with diverse students of mixed abilities, learner levels, backgrounds and cultures.
- High degree of initiative and creativity
- Able to work autonomously
- Age 18 or older

We offer free, non-credit high school equivalency classes, English language classes, career contextualized instruction, and citizenship preparation classes.

Volunteers are essential to fulfilling our mission and we welcome inquiries from community members who want to help the thousands of adult students we serve each year.
