POSITION SUMMARY: Looking for volunteers interested in raising awareness about addiction and mental health to all applicable parties. This position will be responsible for various activities, including research, preparation of materials for education, networking, promoting Mission Addiction, and more dependent upon the availability and interest of the volunteer. Will train interested parties to champion MA, representing the organization in their geographic location. Seeking in-person volunteer(s) in the Dayton, Ohio area as well as any interested virtual volunteer(s). Our organization is interested in having advocates for all local counties! QUALIFICATIONS: - Strong desire to raise awareness about addiction prevention and mental health challenges - Past simple research experience, including data entry, analysis and summary of key findings - Excellent written communication skills - Dependability and reliability - Excellent spoken communication skills are required for candidates making professional networking contacts and appointments PREFERRED: - Knowledge of the Christian faith - Past experience preparing and/or delivering training materials - Knowledge and/or experience with social media, websites, and blogs - Knowledge and/or experience with addiction, including prevention treatment - Knowledge and/or experience with current mental health issues - Knowledge of the Dayton, OH area and relevant organizations if volunteer is local to that area DUTIES: - Research information as assigned, compile, and summarize for various communication/training purposes - Edit and revise assigned materials as appropriate - Perform simple database entry and maintenance (training will be provided, if necessary) - Contact interested parties by phone and/or in-person as assigned to discuss Mission Addiction - Distribute fliers, and/or other addiction and mental health related materials as assigned - Attend assigned events to champion Mission Addiction - Network to promote MA - Interface with other team members as assigned This position will be customized slightly based on the individual candidate, location, interests, skills and experience. POSITION SUMMARY: Looking for volunteers that are Ohio based to represent Mission Addiction at local county meetings (Montgomery, Greene, Butler, Warren, Miami, Clarke, Clinton, Preble, Darke, Hamilton, etc.). This position will also research other opportunities to promote MA in the Dayton area. QUALIFICATIONS: - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Ability to network in a professional manner - Basic research skills, including ability to present key findings - Dependability and reliability PREFERRED: - Knowledge and/or experience with mental health - Knowledge and/or experience with addiction - Knowledge of the Christian faith DUTIES: - Attending assigned county meetings as Mission Addiction's representative, promoting MA, discussing MA activity, networking, and documenting information - Presenting relevant meeting information to MA founder - Researching other engagements to attend and presenting those opportunities to MA founder - Attending other engagements as assigned Mission Addiction is an evolving non-profit organization and this position may evolve with time. POSITION SUMMARY: Provide general support to Executive Assistant and occasionally to Mission Addiction founder QUALIFICATIONS: Must be proficient in the English language, including reading and writing. Candidate(s) must be flexible, have good organization skills, attention to detail, ability to take initiative, and manage time efficiently. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. PREFERRED: - Past administrative experience supporting leadership - Knowledge or experience about mental health, addiction, and/or faith programs DUTIES: Responsible for supporting administrative duties for the Executive Assistant and occasionally MA founder such as scheduling meetings, printing and collating materials, mailing and shipping materials, updating slide decks and transporting materials into PDF format. POSITION SUMMARY : Seeking a Donor Relations Development Director, to develop and manage all aspects of the organization’s fundraising strategy, focusing on donor relationships and managing lower-level fundraising and donor relations team member(s). This position will implement and manage an overall plan, including writing and researching grants, fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, maintaining donor relationships, and planning special events. Candidate(s) will be able to identify potential donors and cultivate relationships with individuals, foundations and community partners. Both junior and senior candidates will be considered. There is potential for this role to develop into a paid position. QUALIFICATIONS: - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills - Knowledge of basic nonprofit fund development techniques and strategies - Ability to successfully design and implement donor cultivation, solicitation and retention strategies - Experience communicating an organization's needs in order to drive short-term and long-term financial development goals - Experience in grant writing - Experience in grant research PREFERRED: - Experience working with websites, social media, email and print campaigns - Leadership experience - Experience managing teams and/or other individuals - Knowledge and/or experience about addiction, including addiction programs - Knowledge and/or experience about mental health - Knowledge and/or experience about Christianity -Resident in Dayton, Ohio area.
