Requirements: HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS - The next TRAINING BEGINS May 9,2015. Training will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 8:30am-12:30pm, Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5:00pm-9:00pm, Wednesday, May 13 from 5:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday, March 16 from 8:30am-12:30. Sixteen hours of classroom training is required. You must attend all 4 classes. All training is held at 2226 Liliha Street, Honolulu 96817. St. Francis Hospice, the first and largest hospice program in Hawaii, and the largest service area within the St. Francis Healthcare System, will be conducting a four-session volunteer training program with sessions held May 9, 11, 13 & 16 2015. You must attend all 4 classes for a total of 16 hours. Volunteers will learn about the history, philosophy and role of hospice care, as well as practical skills for their role as volunteers.
