St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii Seeking Volunteers for Hospice Program
St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii
St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii is one of the largest providers of care options for seniors and caregivers in the Islands. The Hospice Program is the largest department within the St. Francis Healthcare System, has an on-going need for volunteers. The general training is done on-line in the comfort of your own home. All you need is internet access. Then we offer a Saturday morning orientation every two months. At this training we go over the history, culture and legacy of St. Francis. We review our policies and procedures and the protocol for visiting patients with our facility. All volunteers will require TB clearance and we perform a background check. This is a great opportunity for students looking for healthcare experience and for seniors and retirees who want to give back to their community. We work with your schedule and we have many different types of settings to visit patients. We also need volunteers in our Kupuna village, Adult Day-Care and for assisting with hospitality and administration.
We welcome you to join us in providing the needed help in giving relief to our patients and families.
