Grant Proposal Writing: Collaborate with team members to develop compelling grant proposals, including project descriptions, budgets, goals, and outcomes. Tailor proposals to meet the requirements and priorities of each funding opportunity. Grant Management: Assist in managing grant applications and timelines, ensuring all required documents and reports are submitted accurately and on time. Keep track of grant deadlines, requirements, and reporting obligations. Communication: Maintain effective communication with funders, partners, and stakeholders to provide updates on grant applications, project progress, and outcomes. Cultivate positive relationships with potential funders and donors. Documentation: Maintain organized records of grant applications, correspondence, and outcomes for future reference and reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions. We are looking for individuals with carpentry skills, a love for animals, and a willingness to contribute their time and expertise to this project. Responsibilities: Design and Planning: Collaborate with farm staff to design an enclosure that meets the needs of our mini goats, considering factors such as space requirements, shelter, fencing, and access to food and water. Material Acquisition: Assist in sourcing materials needed for the construction of the enclosure, including lumber, fencing, hardware, and any other necessary supplies. Explore cost-effective options and seek donations or discounts from local suppliers if possible. Construction: Work under the guidance of experienced volunteers or staff members to build the enclosure according to the approved design and specifications. Tasks may include framing, fencing, roofing, and installation of gates and other features. The Sunflower Club barista commits to at least 3 shifts per month at our small cafe in Mint Hill (4 tables inside, 2 tables outside). The schedule is made monthly, in advance. The barista must greet members and guests with a smile. They will take orders at the counter and prepare drinks. They will run drinks and prepared food to tables. There are opportunities to make dessert waffles and serve gelato. Also, check on and clear tables. They must maintain a neat, clean work space, wash dishes, sweep & take out trash.
