About SUNFLOWER CLUB OUTREACH

Location:

11211-122 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to be salt and light to our community. We seek out those in need through community outreach partnerships with local pantries, churches and other non-profits. We provide nourishment and support to Families and individuals in our community.

Description

We opened a cafe in May 2021 with the idea in mind that we would sell breakfast and lunch and contribute weekly meals to the area homeless. In a few short months the cafe has turned into a hub of servants and true believers. We have been able to provide healthy, home-cooked meals to about 50 people per week. Our recipients are referred to us through outreach partnerships with local non-profits, churches and schools. We have a few local food pantries that we draw from as well as access to donated cleaning and household products on hand to share with families in need. Needy doesn’t always mean finances.

Our outreach maintains a current and growing list of like-minded businesses and individuals who are willing to offer services and goods pro bono or with a significant discount.
