Position Offered : Job Details: - Egg Harbor City, Saturday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM We are looking for a highly experienced DSP who is comfortable with assisting with ADL and personal care. Must be patient and caring. - Somers Point - Friday, Sunday and Monday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Looking for someone active and who would go out into the community, golfing and talking about travelling. Personal care is needed. Direct Support Professionals (DSP) -Direct Support Professionals go into individuals homes to provide care and help with daily living activities. $18 an hour Training required and provided. Job Coaching -Job coaches help individuals with disabilities find a job and or work on the job-site. $20 an hour Training is required and provided. Acuity Cases -Job responsibilities are similar to Direct Support Professionals, they provide more hands-on care with the individual whether it is medical or behavioral. Acuity cases require more experience in the field. $20 an hour Training is required and provided. All Requirements: - Must love working with and helping people - Must have at least 1 - 2 years of experience helping people with special abilities - Must be over 21 years of age or older - High School Diploma or equivalent - A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance in the state of NJ with your own reliable vehicle - Driving record with 4 points or less - Flexible schedule - Employee must comply with state regulations as necessary - Employee must cooperate with state regulations and NJ Department staff in any inspection or investigation - Pass state and federal background checks - First Aid and CPR certification (We can help you get this certification). -All provided training must be completed before working with a client. -All positions are in-person. DSP must own a vehicle. Bergenfield, Sat + Sun, 6 hours/week, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM We are in need of an experienced DSP who is comfortable assisting with ADL and personal care. DSP needs to own a vehicle. Hillsdale, Saturday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM OR Sunday 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM We are looking for a DSP who likes to follow a routine and can make a calendar of activities for a whole month. Experienced DSP needed as individual requires full care and physical assistance. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Job Description: Friendly Connections is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to volunteer or work on a per diem basis to assess behavioral individuals and help create and implement a behavior plan for Direct Support workers. This can be in person or via Zoom. Our 501c-3 nonprofit is Friendly Connections and we are located in New Jersey and work with individuals with Developmental Disabilities in their homes (through the Division of Developmental Disabilities). The individuals we help live in all 21 counties in NJ. Responsibilities: Provide initial and/or continuing in-home client (re)assessments Plan, manage, and evaluate assigned staff efforts to properly address behavioral excesses and deficits Assume overall direction of Direct Support Professionals working in the home with the client. Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with parents and other caregivers Excellent written and verbal skills; detail oriented Strong leadership and management capabilities. Requirements: Master's degree in ABA, or in psychology or education with a specialization or focus in applied behavior analysis BCBA(r) Certification Compensation: Commensurate with experience
