Our company is called Friendly Connections, we are a non-profit subcontractor of the state. We help adults with disabilities with a number of daily activities. Position Offered :
Mt. Laurel, 3-4 days/week, exact times to be determined
For this position, we are looking for a Job Coach and DSP. Help with basic personal care is needed, as well as being a support for our friend in their job.
Riverton, Monday, Tuesday and Friday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Looking for a reliable DSP who likes to go out to the community, cooks, and likes to socialize.
Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
-Direct Support Professionals go into individuals homes to provide care and help with daily living activities.
$18 an hour
Training required and provided.
Job Coaching
-Job coaches help individuals with disabilities find a job and or work on the job-site.
$20 an hour
Training is required and provided.
Acuity Cases
-Job responsibilities are similar to Direct Support Professionals, they provide more hands-on care with the individual whether it is medical or behavioral. Acuity cases require more experience in the field.
$20 an hour

All Requirements:
- Must love working with and helping people
- Must have at least 1 - 2 years of experience helping people with special abilities
- Must be over 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance in the state of NJ with your own reliable vehicle
- Driving record with 4 points or less
- Flexible schedule
- Employee must comply with state regulations as necessary
- Employee must cooperate with state regulations and NJ Department staff in any inspection or investigation
- Pass state and federal background checks
- First Aid and CPR certification (We can help you get this certification).
-All provided training must be completed before working with a client.
-All positions are in-person.

We are a nonprofit family company that helps connect families and individuals with developmental disabilities with our friendly professionals. We offer social services, namely, companionship services for disabled and elderly persons, and dementia patients.
We have services handled by our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in: Supported Employment, Pre-Vocational Training, Community Inclusion Services, Individual Supports, Career Planning, Community Based Supports (CBS), Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy; working with people with and without disabilities (such as autism) for adult individuals in the NJ DDD program.
