The Virtues Project International Association is seeking a Social Media Manager to administer our organization's social media communications, marketing, and advertising. Essential Duties of the Social Media Manager Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including: Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written). Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "Social" way while cultivating leads and sales. Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions. Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts. Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.). Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns. Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review. Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed. Compile reports for management showing results (ROI). Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics. Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews. Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective. Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management. Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns. Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. The VPIA Board Secretary is both a board member and an officer of VPIA. Primary responsibilities include maintaining corporate records including records of official board meetings, oversight of federal and provincial incorporation requirements and annual filings, coordinating board communications, and ensuring proper functioning of the organization, including board meetings. RESPONSIBILITIES The Secretary will work closely with the Chairperson of the board to plan and schedule board meetings and perform other duties as the need arises. o Create and distribute agenda for Board meetings and Annual General Meeting. o Record and distribute the minutes of Board of Directors meetings. The minutes should reflect the format and level of detail that the Board has determined. o Create and maintain an up-to-date board planning calendar outlining matters to be on the board’s agenda over the course of a year. o Maintain a full contact list of board members including board member appointment dates, term of appointments and board member bios. o As custodian of records, ensure that the records of the organization are maintained as required by applicable law and made available when required by authorized persons. o Make available an up-to-date copy of the bylaws as needed for meetings. o Manage the general correspondence of the Board of Directors except as such correspondence is assigned to others. o Function as the organization’s registered agent with respect to the laws of the jurisdiction, and ensure that documents necessary to maintain the corporation are filed. o Maintain corporate records, including minutes, legal documents and governance policies and provide for systematic policy reviews. REQUIREMENTS The Board Secretary shall: ● Demonstrate a range of experience in the not-for-profit sector and knowledge of how organizations operate, ● Be able to exercise good judgment and discretion in determining what to record and what to omit from official records, ● Master word processing technology, ● Be familiar with the Google Suite of products, ● Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written skills; attention to detail; and follow-through.Be a self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities and function well without a formal work structure. QUALIFICATIONS: The desired candidate shall have relevant experience of at least 5 years, education providing exposure to the Corporate Secretarial and Governance areas. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to contribute to our dynamic team at Virtues Project International Association (VPIA). The role requires individuals who can demonstrate reliability, commitment, cooperation, and diligence. VPIA’s technology environment currently supports a website, product sales, donations, several social media sites, applications to support our training partners (known as Facilitators), and Google Workspace for internal content, administration, and communications. The infrastructure revolves around NeonCRM with interfaces to Squarespace, Constant Contact and other systems. Application development often requires integrating these platforms and, in some cases, connecting with external systems. Proficiency with PHP, Javascript,and JSON is desirable. VPIA is seeking an application designer with specialized expertise in Squarespace and NeonCRM. Additional requirements include ability to design and implement applications with seamless interfaces between the two systems. Candidates with transferable skills in other website building tools or CRM software solutions will be considered. Responsibilities include > Design and implementation of applications integrating Squarespace and NeonCRM. > Ensure smooth functionality and optimal performance of the virtues project website. > Collaboration with the development team to enhance user experience. > Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Create and distribute content for multiple platforms. In particular: WEBSITE: Draft blog posts Create and Publish Newsletters SOCIAL MEDIA & CAMPAIGNS: Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares) Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic Develop an editorial calendar Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention Coordinate with Fundraising to manage our fundraising campaigns Publish our newsletter(s) Ensure brand consistency Requirements Our ideal candidate with demonstrable communication skills as a Communication Manager.
