The communications director/press secretary is in charge of interactions with the media. They build relationships with the press, communicate with the media as the key spokesperson, set up interviews and identify media opportunities for the organization. Radio host assistants will be required to help hosts advertise on social media sites, place recorded show links on multiple site venue's. Some sites used would be watch know learn, itunes, and others. They would also be responsible for requesting research when needed from research department, monitor feedback by audience and making show suggestions. The NHEG Radio Host Assistant will help provide support for radio hosts. This includes promoting shows and internet spots on social media and uploading shows to multiple free sites that promote internet broadcasting. Other responsibilities include organizing research and resources that hosts may request and helping them in any way they need. This may include looking over scripts to approve them for broadcasting, lining up guests for shows and acting as a liaison on multiple situations and opportunities. Requirements:- Resume with three references, including email addresses and phone. Great communication and organizing skills and team player. Ability to search resources and site to promote shows on a weekly basis. Journalism, Broadcasting or Public relations background is a plus but not required.
