Thank you for your interest in volunteering with HOOF! Many of the jobs that come with this volunteer spot are not glamorous and can be dirty and grueling (cleaning habitats, collecting manure, cleaning workspaces, building/construction, maintenance, etc.) but these jobs are very important to the health and safety of our animals. HOOF works closely with Greenlands Farm, the bona fide farm where HOOF is located, in educating about animal and environmental science, animal welfare, and sustainable practices. Some of the projects you will be helping with are in benefit of Greenlands Farm. Helpers Of Our Farm is a small nonprofit with not enough income to support the animals and programs and HOOF depends greatly on the donations from Greenlands Farm to continue. Your help with Greenlands Farm, in turn, helps keep HOOF going!
