Volunteer Position Description The Recruiter is a volunteer position with IMPACTability to serve our mission of empowering college students with disabilities. As Recruiter you will identify and vet potential volunteers and Mentors. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, flexibility, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources. Role and Responsibilities Support and implement the vision and mission of IMPACTability. Prepare position descriptions and post volunteer opportunities to appropriate job boards. Source and attract candidates. Work with the Marketing team to create social media posts to advertise volunteer opportunities. Conduct interviews using reliable selection tools and methods. Evaluate candidates fairly with best practices that follow our DEIA policy. Keep up to date on the latest recruiting practices to apply the best methods. Provide analytical and well-documented reports. Suggest new ideas and policies for recruiting and retaining volunteers. Qualifications Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition including posting on job boards, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and evaluating candidates. Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Administration, Management, or equivalent (including SHRM or HRCI certification) preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally. Must be dependable, organized, accurate, thorough, and strive for excellence in your work. VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION IMPACTability seeks a technologist and systematic IT Manager and Web Master to join our all-volunteer team. As an IT Manager and Web Master, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT application including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook Emails, Sharepoint, Organizations website. This candidate will be responsible for assigning new outlook emails to volunteers, updating organization website hosted on Flipcause and making recommendations for improving the organization’s technology stack. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support for Microsoft outlook emails including user access and entitlements. Updating organization website hosted on Flipcause. Creating/Modifying campaigns on Flipcause Supporting the Learning Management System MyQuest. Establish IT policies and processes to support all IMPACTability Seek ways in which to improve the efficiency of IMPACTability IT Systems (including both process and cost). Contribute to IMPACTability Budget discussions. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience as IT/Systems Manager and Web Master or similar. A working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows and Microsoft Outlook Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software Experience in implementing new IT platforms in small but rapidly growing environments. The Project Manager is a volunteer position in IMPACTability and is responsible for the project tracking and administration of our Disability Advocacy and Career Summit. This hybrid event in Manhattan, NY is scheduled for October, 2024. The Project Manager is a valued member of the Operations/IT team and directly supports Development and Education. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to the development of Project plans and timeline (strategic, implementation or otherwise). Track and manage Project progress against plans. Contribute in the coordination and administration of Project related tasks. Contribute in the development of documentation. Anticipate and manage risks to the Project. Coordinate and/or attend internal virtual Project Management status meetings. Seek ways in which to improve the efficiency of the Project (process, cost, and post project debrief). Contribute to Budget discussions. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in a program / project manager role or similar experience. Experience tracking and managing project plans. Experience using a project management tool or Excel. Experience in Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint or OneDrive is preferred but not required. VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Social Media Manager is a volunteer position with Image Impact International and is responsible for day -to -day social media activities. The most important part of this volunteer opportunity is that the candidate must have demonstrated and extensive social media experience. Additionally, the candidate is actively participating in a wide variety of social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, community development, and management, and is well-connected with the broader social media world. The second important part is that the candidate must be able to think strategically and is willing and able to help implement social media programs. The candidate will work closely with VP Marketing. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that increase visibility, membership, and interaction. Implement and manage social media channels and associated programs. Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities ("marketing R&D"). Develop a social media calendar and manage day-to-day social media postings. Implement a rotating Social Media editorial calendar of themes relevant to the first-generation college student community. Update weekly postings directly and recruit contributors to ensure Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter stay current. Assist with annual Global Civility Awareness Month (31 Days of Civility) Social Media campaign each May. Collaborates with board members, committee members and volunteers as needed. Oversee documentation of social media accounts related to access, passwords and administrators. Propose annual social media budget in coordination with the VP Marketing and the Treasurer. Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts.
