Mission Statement
Prairie Fire Farms Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing retirement to Off the Track Thoroughbreds (OTTB), and Rescuing, Rehabilitating, Re-Homing and Re-Careering any equine breeds in need. Additionally, the foundation is committed to bring equine educational and therapeutic opportunities to low-income families, under privileged and/or at-risk youth, and United States Military Veterans and their families to create an atmosphere for long term skills and lifelong success
Description
We retrain and rehome rescued horses. Some become part of our riding lesson program.
We provide equine opportunitites to low income and at risk youth through donations, grants and a scholarship fund.

Prairie Fire Farms and the people working out there are awesome! They were SO patient with me when I first started volunteering, and none of it was overwhelming at all. Working with horses has been very rewarding, and I'd highly recommend coming out to PFF!

I love helping with horse and other people to put a smile on their face :)) I never work on a farm before but I would love to learn plus I'm a quit learner.
