Lead an interactive music class for people with disabilities!

The Arc provides quality programing and care for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities like down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, etc. We need a kind, compassionate volunteer to bring joy to our clients through music and song. Play the Guitar, keyboard, or other instrument and lead a sing-along session with Arc clients. Our programs promote social, economic, and personal independence. We stand by our belief that people with disabilities have unlimited potential and the right to equality of opportunity. What we need from you! We need a volunteer that can play and instrument and sing. You would prepare a class where clients with intellectual disabilities can sing along and or just enjoy the music. Clases would be on-site at our center in the Stockton area and would take place one day per month. This would be Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm and requires a minimum commitment of 3 months. Marketing & Development Intern

As a Marketing/Development Intern at The Arc you will assist in the implementation of the Marketing and Development plans at one of the region's largest nonprofits to increase awareness and visibility of the organization and its life-changing programs while raising much needed funds. You will: Assist in the establishment of editorial calendars Develop and post content to various social media outlets Track and analyze social media trends and outcomes Generate visual and verbal content for various publications both online and print (i.e. newsletters, flyers, presentations) Steward potential and current donors Identify potential funding sources (i.e. grants, donors) Assist in the completion of grant materials Support staff with coordinating special events Please Note; this internship is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and it is an on-site, in-person position. Office hours are 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday. Interns typically work 4-6 hour shifts 2-3 times per week for a minimum of 3 months.
