Rewards & Recognition Coordinator (Remote) Dallas Pets Alive! is a highly respected animal rescue organization, providing the perfect place to utilize your skills to help animals in need across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This role will help ensure volunteering at DPA! is a "PAWSOME" experience for everyone! As our Rewards & Recognition Coordinator, you’ll support the Pawsome Person Program. You’ll also develop ideas to expand rewards & recognition programming, support the Volunteer Operations & Onboarding team, and have the opportunity to contribute to other HR initiatives. Works with: There will be interaction with cross-functional leaders and teams. Location: Virtual/Remote Responsibilities: Support the Pawsome Person Program, including posting the winners on our internal Facebook page on scheduled days. Generate ideas for growing the rewards and recognition programs and opportunities at DPA! Assist with Volunteer Operations & Onboarding activities. Support the Manager of Volunteer Operations with projects such as recordkeeping, training materials, and other HR initiatives. If local, attend occasional DPA! events to get to know our volunteers and programs. Qualifications/Skills: Must be at least 18 years of age. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Must have a Facebook account to post Pawsome Person winners internally and be willing to comply with our social media policies. A team-oriented individual who enjoys supporting and uplifting others! Organized and detail-oriented with attention to accuracy and DPA! guidelines when posting on social media and sending communications. Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Ability to work independently in a virtual setting, while maintaining open dialogue and a team-centered approach. Proficiency with Gmail and G-Suite applications. Team: Foster Location : Remote/Virtual - Virtual from anywhere, understanding we are in the CST timezone. Time Commitment: Under 5 Hours a week Compensation: This is a Volunteer Position with no monetary compensation. Position Responsibilities: Adoption Gurus will work to ensure foster parents are set for success for meet and greets with potential adopters. These reps will walk the foster through the adoption process. They will identify the pets that are receiving applications, and make sure a Foster to Adopt (FTA) is not in the works. These reps will send the Meet and Greet (MNG) overview to the foster parents so they know what to expect for the phone call and the meeting. They will answer and advise any questions before or after the phone call or meeting. These reps will work closely with the medical team and adoption counselors to ensure all parties are on the same page. Ensuring that foster animal is medically up-to-date and acting as a liaison between the medical team and foster parent when the animal is ready to be listed for adoption Checking in with foster parents at scheduled times via email when their foster receives an application Assisting in troubleshooting any issues before, during and after meet and greets or phone calls with potential adopters Maintaining notes of correspondence with foster parents regarding the pet Referring issues beyond the scope of this function to other volunteers, team leaders, or Foster Director for further processing Developing relationships with foster parents, and professionally managing potential complaints Assisting with any other duties needed to help drive Dallas Pets Alive!’s mission and support our values Skills and Qualifications best suited for this position: Ability to work virtually. Must be at least 18 years of age Proficiency with Gmail and G-Suite applications Fluency in English; bilingual a plus! This involves identifying potential volunteers, communicating with them, and coordinating their involvement in marketing initiatives. Work closely with marketing volunteers to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities. Provide guidance, support, and resources to help them effectively promote DPA events and initiatives.
