Do you love to sew and are looking for a new project? Please consider helping create new fidget blankets for our hospice patients. Fidget blankets are blankets that have fidgets attached such as small stuffed animals, zippers, velcro or denim pockets. Our patients with restlessness or dementia use the fidget blankets to keep their hands busy. Supplies and sewing room are provided on weekdays at the Blue Water Free Methodist Church in Kimball. If you can give us a helping hand, we would be grateful! Please contact Melanie Steinhauser at McLaren Hospice at 586-854-7090 for more information.
