We need dedicated volunteers to help maintain a sanitary environment inside our cat adoption center. This includes cleaning their kennels, feeding/replenishing food, and water. You will be trained on how to do this, and supplies will be provided Volunteers will sometimes interact with potential adopters. Volunteers for this position should be able to work independently, be self-motivated, possess self-initiative, be consistent, on time, and act professionally in a laid-back environment. Experience with cats is important. Volunteering in teams of two is permitted. There is cleaning involved and we all do it, even the Executive Director. This is the **most important** function of our daily operations, and vital for the health and well-being of our adoptable cats and kittens. Volunteers who are reliable and stay with us for at least 6 months will receive a strong letter of recommendation for their future endeavors. If you are looking to be a leader amongst our all-volunteer nonprofit organization, and aren't afraid to do get your hands a little dirty, please reach out to us with a short note, and please don't forget to include a contact number. :-) Volunteers should be committed to the aforementioned shifts for at least 6 months. We have morning, and evening shifts available.

The unified brand identify and graphic design assets will be a critical first step to establish Inky Blue Sea's online presence in order to expand its reach and ultimately significantly improve our animals' visibility to loving homes and the likelihood at which they'll find a great home. What We Have In Place We will be starting from scratch. Inky Blue Sea has an established Facebook and Twitter presence. We have recruited a talented web developer (currently employed at LinkedIn) to help us build out the website. All of your work will be put to use via all channels of Inky Blue Sea's new brand.

We need educators, fundraisers, grant & proposal writers, social networking, web support, bloggers, foster homes (for our kittens and juvenile cats and puppies), adoption volunteers at PETSMART, people who can help with transporting animals within NYC, as well as clerical help. Help is needed for a variety of projects that we are working on at inky Blue Sea Companion Animal Rescue.
