Goals: Evolve the Inky Blue Sea brand by developing and implementing a branding strategic roadmap Establish a master brand architecture and integrate established communication channels to the Inky Blue Sea brand Build brand advocacy among Inky Blue Sea's partners, prospective animal adopters, volunteers, and the community Strategies: Drive a organizational level brand awareness campaign Evolve, expand and communicate the brand identity system to fully implement the master brand strategy Develop processes and policies for promoting consistent brand usage globally Responsibilities: Brand Messaging: Serve as advisor to Inky Blue Sea's board to develop brand positioning and messaging and drive consistency of brand message and brand representation across Inky Blue's online channels, campaigns, and field marketing efforts Brand Management: Manage development, distribution and maintenance of brand policies, guidelines, and standards Manage development, distribution and usage of brand templates (collateral, PPT, etc) Brand Intelligence and Operations: Spearhead brand-related research to support a data-driven approach to brand messaging/communications and brand management Manage day-to-day activities of strategic/tactical agencies and internal brand team member.

Volunteer Manager ensures that at least 1 volunteer is present in the morning, and one in the early evening to clean, feed and maintain kennels that our adoptable cats are housed in inside PETCO as they wait to be adopted. The Volunteer Manager is Responsible for scheduling volunteers and making sure all shifts are covered. The volunteer manager should be able to fill in for shift that needs to be covered on short notice. This volunteer position requires that you be responsible, dependable, organized, flexible, with the ability to manage people. The Volunteer Manager will need be able to work virtually, as well as in person when needed.

Adoption Managers will adopt out cats or kittens, contact potential adopters, explain and handle paperwork such as adoption applications and foster waivers. Adoption Managers will explain fees and the adoption process if asked and conduct the adoption itself or will cooperate with other Inky Blue Members to help a shelter animal be adopted. We need dedicated volunteers to help maintain a sanitary environment inside our cat adoption center. This includes cleaning cat spaces in a cat condo habitat, feeding/replenishing food & water, changing cat litter. Experience with cats in necessary. Volunteers will sometimes interact with potential adopters. Volunteers for this position should be able to work independently, be self-motivated, possess self-initiative, be consistent, on time, and act professionally in a laid-back environment. Experience with cats is important. Volunteering in teams of two is permitted. There is cleaning involved and we all do it, even the Executive Director. This is the **most important** function of our daily operations, and vital for the health and well-being of our adoptable cats and kittens. Volunteers who are reliable and can make a commitment to attend the same day and shift every week for at least 6 months will receive a strong letter of recommendation for their future endeavors. If you are looking to be a leader amongst our all-volunteer nonprofit organization, and aren't afraid to do get your hands a little dirty, please reach out to us with a short note, and please don't forget to include a contact number. :-) Volunteers should be committed to the aforementioned shifts for at least 6 months. What We're Looking For New Logo for Inky Blue Sea consistent with our branding roadmap Web Concept Design Social Media Outreach Material Marketing Kit Concept Design How this Will Help Inky Blue Sea is looking to expand its current operations to help support the rescue and rehoming of more animals under stress. The unified brand identify and graphic design assets will be a critical first step to establish Inky Blue Sea's online presence in order to expand its reach and ultimately significantly improve our animals' visibility to loving homes and the likelihood at which they'll find a great home. What We Have In Place We will be starting from scratch. Inky Blue Sea has an established Facebook and Twitter presence. We have recruited a talented web developer (currently employed at LinkedIn) to help us build out the website. All of your work will be put to use via all channels of Inky Blue Sea's new brand.
