Mission Statement

The mission of Senior Resources of Guilford is to serve our diverse community of seniors and their families by advocating and providing support services that enhance the independence, health and quality of life for seniors.


The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a Senior Corps program administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service. In Guilford County, RSVP is locally sponsored by Senior Resources of Guilford.

RSVP partners with community organizations throughout Guilford County to provide volunteer support to their organizations while making an impact on the community needs of Guilford County.

RSVP volunteers are placed in volunteer assignments that utilize their skills and talents, provide volunteers with new and/or rewarding experience.

RSVP volunteers may receive mileage reimbursement and qualify for supplemental accident and liability insurance.

Any org. That help people is a winner, because some elder people can't do for themselves, and are in need of help, one day I will be old and hope I find someone to help me. Or and org that will take me in when theirs no one else around to help. I'm not working and would like to help people.
