Working with children in schools, childcare centers, and youth programs. Through loving efforts, help children gain confidence and improve their academic performance. The positive effects of the Foster Grandparent program are immediate and long-lasting.
A tax-free stipend is provided (average $300 per month which does not affect current benefits including: Social Security, SSI, food stamps, Medicare/Medicaid or housing eligibility.
Paid holiday, vacation and sick leave.
Liability insurance coverage.
Introductory orientation and monthly training.
