Mission Statement

The Capital Area Animal Welfare Society (CAAWS) is a non-profit organization committed to the well-being of animals in the Baton Rouge community by providing, facilitating, and promoting spay/neuter, adopting or facilitating the adoption of homeless animals, and teaching the community responsible companion animal ownership and the humane treatment of animals.

Description

CAAWS is a nonprofit organization run solely by volunteers. CAAWS is not only an animal shelter, but a humane organization. Adoption days are held on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm at both the main location and Petsmart. CAAWS will provide a $10 off coupon for a spay/neuter upon request.
