Position Overview: Chiquita Jackson Enterprise is seeking a qualified and dedicated Volunteer Business Development Coordinator to help drive our growth and expansion efforts. As a social impact nonprofit, we believe in fostering innovative partnerships and identifying new opportunities to further our mission. Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve organizational objectives. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and client leads through networking, research, and outreach. Develop and implement sales strategies, client service, and retention plans, analyzing sales data to inform marketing strategies. Assist in drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference materials, and other documents as required. Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Identify new business opportunities and potential partners, fostering strong relationships to drive collaboration. Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential clients. Cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client relationships. Collate and maintain client information in the CRM database to track interactions and manage client relationships effectively. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients. Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Responsibilities: Manage research projects on poverty alleviation in Maryland and Michigan, considering social, cultural, and gender norms in different communities. Define research questions, topics, and timelines, and develop comprehensive research proposals. Write, edit, and ensure quality control for research reports and presentations. Compile and share research and data related to local, national institutions, relevant ministries, and donors as needed.
