The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the organization's social media strategy and managing the organization's social media accounts. The Social Media Manager will work closely with the marketing and communications teams to create and curate engaging content, and will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing social media metrics to inform and improve the organization's social media presence. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, as well as experience creating and executing social media campaigns. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the organization's social media strategy, including the management of social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms. Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos, that aligns with the organization's mission and goals. Monitor and analyze social media metrics, such as likes, shares, and followers, to inform and improve the organization's social media presence. Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to create and execute social media campaigns and promotions. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices, and incorporate them into the organization's social media strategy. Respond to comments and messages in a timely and appropriate manner. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field 2+ years of experience in social media management Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices Experience creating and executing social media campaigns Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Experience with social media management and analytics tools

Familiarity with gender-related issues and an understanding of current debates, research, and best practices preferred but not required. Prior experience in fact-checking, research, or editorial roles is beneficial but not required.
