Events & Fundraising Team Member Central Jersey Animal Rescue is seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, detail-oriented person to join our events & fundraising team. The volunteer in this position will work closely with our Board of Directors and Fundraising Chair. Is this position for you? Have your own computer and are good with searching and online document filing. Like interacting with people. Have good planning skills. Able to attend tabling and fundraising events that are planned. Able working on your own and with the group, detail-oriented, self-motivated and responsible Care about animals and interested in humane solutions Responsibilities Performs relevant research to identify potential fund-raising opportunities and outreach events. Assists with planning the events and participating at them. This includes filing necessary paperwork to participate in a fundraiser or event. Provide status to the Fundraising Chair and the Board team. While most of the research and planning will be done remotely, the candidate for this volunteer position MUST be available to attend several of the planned events. Events can be in Monmouth or Middlesex counties and are on weekends. We attend 4-6 events per year. Benefits and Impact Your volunteer work allows resources to go toward caring for domestic animals in need. Your contributions to our team will help to save animals in need in central NJ. CJAR is a non-profit, all-volunteer animal welfare organization. We are relatively new, and we are looking to grow our organization. Details Commitment: 2-4 hours a week for research and planning; Events usually require a 4hr commitment. Must be able to meet once a month via Zoom for a volunteer meeting

Currently CJAR is present on Facebook and Instagram and we are looking to expand to LinkedIn and possibly YouTube and Twitter Is this position for you?
