Supporting recovery and resilience among our veterans, families, and communities. Yoga has been proven to be an effective tool in the treatment of PTS(D) and other service related issues. Veterans Yoga Project GIVES: Gratitude - A daily attitude of gratitude in words and deeds. Integrity - Honesty, authenticity, and respect for others at all times. Veterans, their families and our communities are our purpose. Empowers - veterans to cultivate emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Serve - those who have served and honor the mind, body and spirit of each individual.
Veterans Yoga Project serves active duty military and veterans by providing yoga teachers and classes for veterans. We also train experienced yoga teachers to work within the military and veteran culture as well as working with the special needs of active duty military and veterans.
Veterans Yoga Project conducts healing retreats for veterans recovering from stress-related challenges including PTS(D) and spouses and partners are welcome to attend.
