OUR MISSION: Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho supports families of ill or injured children by keeping them together in times of medical need. OUR VISION: Making families the center of our purpose, we will: • Provide them with a safe and secure place for healing filled with hope and comfort. • Invest and strengthen healthcare partnerships to meet families’ growing and changing needs. OUR VALUES: • We are caring, friendly and supportive. • We are nurturing and family centered. • We act in a manner that is professional, responsive and respectful. • We celebrate our heritage. • We operate with accountability and transparency.
Since 1988, the family of any hospitalized or ill child receiving treatment at a Boise medical facility has found a home away from home at the Idaho Ronald McDonald House. Families come from across Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Northern Nevada and beyond. The House serves hundreds of families each year that face many challenges with their sick children.
Providing these families with a safe, supportive, welcoming place to stay is the reason the Ronald McDonald House exists. The staff, volunteers and Board of Directors help to meet basic needs and provide more than just the necessities. With the help of all the supporters of the House, families are provided shelter, food, support, and care.
