Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower consumers receiving long-term care services to expect excellence, no matter where they live, and assist them with complaint resolution when requested.
Description
Did you know 60% of nursing home residents have no visitors, no one to see, hear, or speak up for them. Please consider joining our team and help our consumers, receiving long-term care, know someone cares, and make sure they know about their rights as a resident in Nursing Home & Assisted Living facilities. Ombudsman Associates, our volunteer advocates, seek to enhance the quality of life for long-term care consumers living in nursing homes, assisted living homes, group homes, and those consumers living out in the community. They help our team educate residents, family members, and friends about the resources available to them through the Ombudsman program and about the Residents’ Rights. We cover Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Shelby Counties. Veterans and retirees encouraged to apply.
