We strive to empower people with physical and developmental challenges to discover their greatest strengths and gain a sense of self-confidence and self-reliance through the special relationship with a horse.
We are a 100% volunteer organization that provides Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) to individuals of all ages who have disabilites.
We serve children and adults of all ages who have a variety of disabilites, including autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, spinal meningitis, Down syndrome, vision impairment, deaf/hard of hearing, learning disabilites, and developmental delay of all levels.
Simply put, therapeutic riding is horseback riding combined with physical, social, and emotional therapy.
