Mission Statement

PAL Humane Society is dedicated to: *Assisting low income seniors, veterans, homeless, and pet families in our local community care for their pets by providing pet food and spay/neuter services; *The prevention of cruelty to animals through public outreach and education


PAL Humane Society operates a Pets In Need Program for the Greater Las Vegas Valley. PAL assists low-income military veterans, homeless, pet families and seniors care for their dogs and cats by providing pet food and cat litter each month free of charge.

We are have a Pet Food Bank that services local rescues and human pantries with free pet food with the help of Three Square Food Bank.

PAL operates a Spay/Neuter voucher program for Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes (Fix-A-Pit) and for other breeds of dogs and cats (Fix-a-Pal).

Additionally, PAL is active in animal welfare education for youth, including elementary school programming and Explorer Posts/Clubs.

PAL has been in business since 1993. The company started in Victorville, CA and moved their operations to Las Vegas in 2014. As a way to support PAL, we operate a pet gift store on line and at our location on N Rancho Drive near Craig Road.

Miss Katherine, the founder was very informative about what they did for the animals of Las Vegas. And they're still growing and need more volunteers. There might be an opportunity to be hired in permanent. There is a lot of opportunity to be had here.
