Mission Statement

"PALNV is dedicated to building communities that improve animal life. Our focus is saving community cats that are at risk. "

Description

PALNV is a nonprofit organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place for the animals that do not have homes. PALNV partners with The Animal Foundation, TNR Trappers and Colony Feeders to take in cats facing homelessness on the streets and house them in our Rescued Treasures Cat Cafe. Once they are at our cafe, our staff and fosters care for the cats and kittens, working with them to get ready for adoption. They stay with us until they find their forever homes and as our cats are adopted, we reach out to our partners to bring us more cats and kittens thus being a part of the solution to saving our community cats.

PALNV is the Nevada Affiliate for Rescue Bank, a program of GreaterGood.org. We work with 501c3 rescues, feral cat organizations and pet food pantries to provide pet food which helps the organizations so they can use their dollars for medical care, adoptions and supplies.

PALNV has been in business since 1993. The organization started in Victorville, CA and moved their operations to Las Vegas in 2014. We are now located on N Rancho Drive near W Craig Road.

Volunteers are vital to our operations here at PALNV. We continually seek to expand our programs with volunteer support. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations and volunteer efforts to help us achieve our goals and saving our communities at risk cats.

This organization means what it says and has a great heart. They are VERY transparent and say what they need to. The organization has been around for a long time and thus has much experience. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful, I recommend volunteering here! It's worth the time.

The tasks that I was assigned to were fairly straightforward. Their staff is small but very friendly and knowledgeable. I have had a lot going on lately, but will definitely be back when there's time in my schedule.

Miss Katherine, the founder was very informative about what they did for the animals of Las Vegas. And they're still growing and need more volunteers. There might be an opportunity to be hired in permanent. There is a lot of opportunity to be had here.
