Mission Statement
A.L.A.Y.A Ministries is a charitable, tax-exempt, 501 c (3) organization. It is a community outreach organization that is dedicated to promoting empowerment and provides services to women, children, and families. Our mission is to help to equip individuals to achieve leadership skills through support services, personal growth classes and workshops. This will unlock the potential that each individual has to become a leader within the community.
Description
A.L.A.Y.A Ministries was established in 2009, we are a charitable, tax-exempt, 501 c (3) organization. We are a community outreach organization that is dedicated to promoting empowerment and provides services to women, children, and families.
We target Houston urban communities and have hosted events for individuals in the Cuney Homes located in Houston’s Third Ward area serving over 50 children, helping them to prepare for the upcoming school year. We provide free leadership training via partnership with the Houston and surrounding area libraries. Other activities include serving the Alief Community, partnering with New Deliverance Outreach Center, serving families in Bayou Village Apartments.
Vision
It is A.L.A.Y.A’s intent to help develop personal growth by establishing (mentoring) programs, classes, workshops and, seminars. A.L.A.Y.A wishes to set standards that helps everyone recognize their own leadership abilities. A.L.A.Y.A will exemplify our dedication to our goals and to the fulfillment of this vision statement.
