To make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth, adults, individuals, and their families, by providing positive development programs in a safe, supportive, and structured environment through which young people, adults, and their families can overcome economic, social, and educational barriers and achieve skills so that individually, each may become productive members of society and build strong families, leading to even stronger communities.

Description

Tampa Bay Academy of Hope was founded in 1996. Since its inception TBAH has assisted over 25,000 youth, adults and families with leadership training, counseling, mentoring, job placement, education, and scholarship development programs.
TBAH is dedicated to helping youth, adults and families take personal responsibility leading to self-sufficiency through the following programs: Mentoring+, Fostering Aspirations: Mentor Engagement (FAME), Promoting Abstinence Through Health and Self-Awareness (PATHS), Job Opportunities and Basic Skills (JOBS), HOPE, YouthBuild TBAH, and Parent Leadership & Advocacy Network (PLAN). TBAH programs are designed to teach and reinforce positive personal development and leadership skills. Personal growth is enhanced through mentoring services and activities. TBAH is dedicated to making a difference by providing positive development programs in a safe, supportive, and structured environment through which young people, adults, and families can overcome economic, social, and educational barriers and achieve skills so that individually, each may become productive members of society and build strong families, leading to even stronger communities.
