"Because Someone Believed in You, It's Time to Pass It Forward"

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the life of a young person? The Tampa Bay Academy of Hope invites you to join our Fostering Aspirations: Mentor Engagement (FAME) Program as a volunteer mentor. We are seeking compassionate, committed individuals to guide and support youth ages 10 to 17 in Polk County, Florida.

By sharing your time, experience, and heart, you can be the beacon of hope and guidance that lights the path for a young person striving to navigate the complexities of growing up. Remember the difference a mentor made in your life? Now it’s your turn to be that difference for someone else.

Why Volunteer with FAME?

  • Transform Lives: Your mentorship can inspire confidence, nurture dreams, and help youth overcome challenges.
  • Give Back: Pay it forward by providing the support and guidance that once helped you.
  • Connect: Build meaningful relationships that enrich both your life and the life of your mentee.

We Provide:

  • Comprehensive training and support.
  • A flexible volunteering schedule.
  • An opportunity to be part of a community of like-minded individuals.

How to Apply? If you feel the call to action, visit the Tampa Bay Academy of Hope's website at Tampa Bay Academy of Hope's Website and fill out the volunteer mentor application under the FAME Program section or sign up here.

Take the first step in igniting a future. Because you had someone who believed in you, now is your chance to believe in someone else. Together, we can create a brighter tomorrow for the youth of Polk County.
