Chinatown has an amazing community with a rich cultural history in which the YMCA has been a part of for over 100 years! Many of the youth who live in this area are low income and do not get a chance to leave the neighborhood. Make a difference and become a mentor! Mentors are provided with training and support throughout the program. I am excited be a mentor. My mentee and I have plans to explore the entire city!

The Chinatown Y is an extremely energetic community center with lots all kinds of activities going on and people running around. The staff and volunteers really care about their community and it is evident in the atmosphere. There are multiple available ways to make an impact on someone's life and it is easy to help out and feel like you made a difference. Give them a try! I highly recommend it.
