As part of our hospice team you can: Provide companionship and socialization to patients and their families Provide needed non-medical services, letter writing, respite care and assisting with family needs Provide support at the time of death and during bereavement The scheduling is flexible and training is provided. Our main office is in Kearny Mesa, but you can volunteer in your own neighborhood anywhere in San Diego County!

Our Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteer Program aims to pair recruited Veteran Volunteers with hospice patients who have been identified as Veterans. Once paired with hospice patients who also have military experience, Veteran Volunteers have the unique ability to relate and connect with Veteran patients thereby creating an environment where life review and healing may occur. The scheduling is flexible and training is provided. We ask that volunteers commit to at least 6 months.
