Free For Charity is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations reduce their costs, increase their revenue, and put more money into their charitable mission where it belongs. We are looking for developers who will work with small charities to build them websites using WordPress and the Divi theme. We are also looking for developers who are interested in developing plugins to help nonprofits link their websites to the other services and products they use to help their organizations run. Benefits: Free website hosting for your personal sites (cPanel hosting) Full Microsoft Office 365 Suite for as long as you are volunteering Free For Charity is run as a an Agile organization. As such, all hours worked can be certified as PMP or SAFe project hours towards the minimum requirement to sit for the PMP exam or SAFe exam. Free For Charity Director can certify many other types of hours for professional certifications Requirements: This position will be worked from home or from our charity office on Science Park in State College PA. Most assignments and work will be managed in Microsoft Teams, with phone and email communication as needed Any website design work will require communication with staff or board members of a supported nonprofit, either over the phone or through email. Must be self-motivated and able to work on the task proactively Any custom development work (Custom themes, plugins, other code) must be submitted to GitHub. Any premium plugins or themes must come from Free For Charity’s sources. Any additional themes may be recommended and will be considered. We look forward to your contact. Position Title: Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofits Specialist Organization: Free For Charity Location: Remote Duration: [e.g., 6 months, 1 year, or ongoing] Hours: [e.g., 10-15 hours per week] Position Overview: Free For Charity is seeking a dedicated and skilled Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofits Specialist to help our organization leverage the full potential of Microsoft's cloud technologies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Microsoft cloud services, including Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform, and is passionate about applying their expertise to support our mission. As a Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofits Specialist, you will work closely with our IT team to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient, secure, and scalable access to our organization's resources. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the IT team to assess our organization's needs and design a comprehensive Microsoft cloud strategy tailored to our mission and objectives. Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking. Migrate existing applications, databases, and data to the Microsoft Non-Profit Cloud and ensure seamless integration with on-premises systems. Set up, administer, and optimize Office 365 Non-Profit services, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams, to enhance collaboration and productivity across the organization. Customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications to streamline operations, improve constituent engagement, and support data-driven decision-making. Utilize Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, to develop custom applications, automate workflows, analyze data, and create chatbots. Monitor and optimize the cloud environment to ensure efficient performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Implement and maintain security best practices, including data protection, access control, and compliance with relevant data protection regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Microsoft Non-Profit Cloud environment. Provide training and support to staff members on cloud-related technologies and processes, and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Microsoft cloud technologies and share relevant knowledge with the team. Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates and discuss progress. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft cloud technologies, such as Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform. Knowledge of cloud architecture, deployment, and migration best practices. Familiarity with Microsoft Non-Profit Cloud program offerings and requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team. Project management experience, with a track record of successfully executing technology projects.
