Volunteering is a work of heart! Caris Healthcare is looking for friendly, compassionate individuals eager to provide a comforting presence for our patients and their families. You will make weekly or monthly visits to our terminally ill patients who are unable to get out and socialize and/or need assistance with simple household chores. Our patients enjoy having that extra companionship that our staff or their caregivers might not be able to provide. This might include reading, music, art, games, or just chatting!

Virtual Opportunity
Do you love to sew, quilt, and/or crochet? If so, Caris has the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! We have a program called Thread of Grace, where family members pick a piece of clothing to sew into a lap blanket or teddy bear to honor their loved one's memory. Our patients love lap blankets and quilts! We also like to provide fidget sleeves and blankets to our memory care and pediatric patients. We truly value our patients and their families, and this is a great opportunity to spread some kindness into your community.
