Meals on Wheels: Our Volunteers deliver meals to seniors Monday through Saturday. You can deliver anywhere from one route a month or 2-3 every week. It all depends on your schedule. We also welcome group coverage. This is an opportunity to deliver a much-needed meal and develop a relationship with the clients that will warm your heart as well as theirs. Volunteers are required to complete additional paperwork before delivering meals (please note this includes a background check which has a fee). Camp POSTCARD is a summer leadership camp for 5th and 6th graders. We have two different weeks scheduled: June 20th-27th and July 18th-25th Camp is at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO. Food and lodging are provided. As a volunteer, you would be part of a team that includes: staff, other volunteers, counselors, mental health clinicians, and nurses. Here are some duties: Support the counselors Setting up/helping run/cleaning up activities Loading/unloading supplies Cleaning Organizing supplies Taking water coolers to different locations Store runs Administrative help and much more!

Volunteers of America Colorado (VOAC) Mission is a daytime community center that provides emergency and vital supportive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. The VOAC Mission is located at 2877 Lawrence Street in Denver. Services include breakfast, hot lunch, sack lunches, spiritual guidance, a clothing bank, social and human services, commuity resource referrals, and a emergency food bank to those in need. We have several shifts available Monday-Friday and Sunday. The Safety of Seniors Handyman Program helps seniors live safely and independently in their own homes, allowing them to continue to be a viable part of the community. Skilled volunteer handymen and women are essential to the program and provide clients with safety assessments, education on fall and fire prevention, and perform in-home repairs and safety modifications. Work in your own neighborhood/area if you desire. Volunteers are required to complete additional paperwork before volunteering (please note this includes a background check which has a $25.00 fee).
