Help us spread kindness during the month of May by creating cards for 1,300 homebound seniors in our Meals on Wheels Program in Santa Clara County. Volunteers may craft or sign blank cards for our community's most vulnerable isolated aging population. Many of us have a few blank cards lying around, which can be put to good use. Simply write a positive message, a funny joke, or an anecdote to help brighten someone’s day. All cards should be a minimum size of 4 x 6 inches or 5 x 7 inches. Cards must be inserted into individual envelopes for easy distribution and mailed or dropped off at our office in Santa Clara (3100 De La Cruz Blvd. Suite 310, Santa Clara, CA 95054) by Thursday, May 16th. Office hours for card drop-off: Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Individuals or groups can sign up for the volunteer project. We recommend group leaders track the number of cards and total hours volunteered completed for the entire group. To sign up for the Volunteer Project: 1.
