The OWCAP MISSION is To elevate individuals, families, and communities of Weber County by improving self-sufficiency through services and collaboration. Our VISION is to have a strong and inclusive community where people are thriving. OWCAP Values relationships, diversity, compassion, community and education.
Description
The staff at OWCAP desire to empower and strengthen individuals and families, and build communities through self-sufficiency and education programs. The programs at OWCAP include Head Start and Early Head Start; VITA (free tax preparation); Adult High School Diploma and GED Scholarships; Housing Assistance; Mental Health Support; On-site WSD Adult Education and ESL classes; Financial Literacy and Asset Management; and CIRCLES. CIRCLES is a free resource for families who would like to improve their lives by increasing their social capital, improving job skills, and connecting to members of the community through weekly training meetings.
