CIrcles Program - Ally Volunteer

Do you have a vision of a community without poverty? Are you a listener who likes to build relationships? Are you passionate about helping others? You are needed to assist families break the cycle of poverty and thrive, not just survive!

Circles Leaders are low-income individuals who have the determination to break their cycle of poverty.

Circles Allies are community volunteers who share their experience to help Circles Leaders "figure out" how to get out, and stay out, of poverty.

CIRCLES RESOURCE TEAMS--Volunteers are needed for:

The Community Team, which coordinates logistics for weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings--site, meals, and programming.

The Recruitment Team to build networks and promote the Circles program within the community through outreach and presentations.

The Jobs & Education Team to establish connections with educational and employment partners.

The Services Team, which is a team of agency partners who provide resources such as healthcare, housing assistance, transportation, financial assistance, and mental health resources.

The Big View Team to work on local, state, and national policies to solve systemic barriers that prevent individuals from moving out of poverty.
