CSA seeks kind-hearted regular volunteers to help distribute food through the mobile Pantry service on Wednesdays. Off-site distribution locations: Castro/Mistral - Shift: 1:30pm- 4:30pm. Klein Park: Shift: 11:15am- 1:15pm Del Medio: Shft: 11:15am- 1:15pm Must be 14 years old.

Seniors experience fewer hospitalizations and live independently for longer when social and medical care are integrated under the direction of a case manager. Help is needed WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY 9 AM-12 PM Transportation: CSA van. Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and insurance. NEW volunteers: 6-month minimum commitment. Skills required: Ability to lift minimum 25lbs Enjoy working with a team.

Virtual Opportunity
Our Young Professionals (YP) group is geared toward individuals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who want to address the issues of hunger, poverty, and homelessness in our community. YP members volunteer at events, plan small fundraisers to support CSA’s work, and serve as ambassadors in the community. YP is a volunteer-oriented group of people in their 20s-40s, and they have monthly calls where they check in on different initiatives happening within YP. Some recent examples of the work YP has done include: organizing a fundraiser through a local pizza joint to raise money for CSA, volunteering at various CSA events to do things like distributing school supplies to low-income residents, working at the CSA food pantry, and currently organizing the 4th annual Empty Glasses wine tasting event to raise money for CSA programs. Meetings happen on the first Thursday of each month starting at 5:30 pm via Google meets. Great opportunity for networking and helping to spread the word about CSA's services to those in need.
