The preeminent center for performing and visual arts in Metrowest Boston, The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN) is a non-profit organization. We believe the arrts are a rich form of comunication through which people can meet. understand, and accept one another, appreciate our similarities, and understand our differences. Through the arts we can explore our world, gain confidence, and reach new goals. TCAN is dedicated to enriching lives and enhancing the Metrowest Boston community by supporting the creation, presentation, and appreciation of art. TCAN produces and presents performances and exhibits that reflect the diversity of the world in which we live and strives to strengthen the appreciation of arts through arts education and experimentation.
TCAN is located in downtown Natick in the restored 1875 Firehouse near public transportation and major routes. We seat 280 at feature events and offer refreshments at all shows. The performances are in diverse genres including folk, jazz, rock and blues, classical and world. We have shows for families on Saturday mornings. During the week, children can participate in classes in theatre and dance. In the summer, we host a summer arts camp. We also offer dance for adults, as well as, select art classes.
