Mission Statement

Our Mission Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our Vision A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Description

Habitat for Humanity Chicago South Suburbs(HFHCSS) partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Volunteers from all walks of life are Habitat's lifeline. While we are housing experts, we can't do it alone. Your help is critical to making affordable homeownership a reality in DuPage County and across the world.

The manager was professional and nice to give me a response to my message so therefore I would likely recommend this volunteering position

We have participated in a house building 2 years in a row at St Barnabas Parish in Chicago. Rewarding, fun and worthwhile. Would do it again and recommend to others.
