Mission Statement

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to support the health and well being of children by providing lodging, meals, activities and a community of care to critically ill children and their families who need to be near a pediatric hospital for treatment.

Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida, is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, that makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives by providing a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. The Ronald McDonald House in South Florida its located on the grounds of Jackson Memorial Hospital. The 31 bedroom facility assists around 300 families a year.

Even through the Coronavirus pandemic, we continue to assist families with seriously ill children. Our doors never closed and step by step will continue our mission of keeping families together. Volunteers are the heart of the house and we have some virtual opportunities available.

no proper communication, late email response, called for the interview and I arrive, the manager she wasn't there, she was off but she emails me to arrive on the day for an interview with her. there is no proper documentation of the role of an internship. really disappointed.
