Meals on Wheels is the only nationwide, community-based network of support dedicated to making sure that no senior is ever left isolated or hungry. The Wake County Meals On Wheels serves around 1300 clients daily and we need your help. Meals On Wheels located inside the Luther Green Community Center in Morrisville, NC is in need of friendly volunteers! Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver lunch and smiles to our senior and disabled clients. Meal delivery takes about 60 to 90 minutes. Please arrive between 11:15 and 12 pm. You will be given complete turn by turn directions via our app. If you don't want to return coolers to the site when your route is done bring two medium sized coolers of your own to transport the food. Groups and individuals welcome with daily, weekly, monthly or yearly commitments. Sign ups can be ongoing or last minute as we have a live link for open routes. Parking: Community center parking lot. What to bring: Two medium sized coolers (optional) and a smart phone (optional).
