Crisis Responder

Victim Witness Services is seeking compassionate volunteers who are interest in becoming Crisis Response Advocates and helping victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other crimes. By becoming a Crisis Responder you will be educating, assisting, and empowering victims and witnesses of crime in our community immediately after a crime occurs. While collaborating with community partners you will be providing meaningful services to our community, while strengthening your resume, networking, and gaining valuable life experience. We work closely with law enforcement to assist victims of crime with safety planning, referrals, criminal justice advocacy, Victim Compensation, and Victim's Rights.

This includes attending fairs and community events, tabling booths and more to help connect the community with Victim Witness Services for community outreach purposes to communicate the mission and purpose of the organization. Facilitator for Children's Support Group

Do you love hanging out with kids and have the knack in helping others, well Victim Witness Services is seeking compassionate along with motivated volunteers to help facilitate a children's group. We are in need of volunteers to work with children ages 0 to 18. We will be starting this up in October and it will meet two times a month, which, will be held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Will need a fingerprint card.
