Victim Witness Services is seeking passionate new volunteers who are interested in the social work, psychology, or criminal justice fields. Volunteers will attend a 40 hour training on "Becoming a Volunteer Crisis Responder."
By becoming a Crisis Responder you will be educating, assisting, and empowering victims and witnesses of crime in our community immediately after a crime occurs.
While collaborating with community partners you will be providing meaningful services to our community, while strengthening your resume, networking, and gaining valuable life experience.
We work closely with law enforcement to assist victims of crime with safety planning, referrals, criminal justice advocacy, Victim Compensation, and Victim's Rights.
